Position: Cake Decorator – East Chicago
About: Indiana Grocery Group is looking for a Bakery Clerk to assist customers, stock and rotate products, inspect bakery items for freshness, operate an air brush sprayer, and decorate cakes using various tools. The role involves additional activities such as taking orders, building displays, cleaning and sanitizing departments, receiving deliveries, and packaging products. The ideal candidate must have commercial cake decorating experience, possess a positive customer service attitude, a pleasant personality, effective memory skills, good hand-eye coordination, dependability, ability to follow directions, and a strong willingness to learn. The work environment includes normal exposure to weather and temperature extremes, with exposure to cooler and freezer areas not exceeding 1 hour at a time.
