Position: Cafe in the Park – Manager
About: Moody Gardens, a renowned hotel and resort in Galveston, is seeking a dedicated Cafe in the Park Manager to lead and coordinate the food and beverage outlet staff in delivering top-notch services to guests.
Requirements: Any combination of education, training, or experience providing the required skills; at least two years of food and beverage supervisory experience; high school diploma required; college degree preferred; thorough knowledge of food and beverage outlet operations; ability to obtain TABC and Food Handlers Certification; must be reliable and responsible; considerable skill in math and algebraic equations; ability to communicate effectively in English and preferably in Spanish; ability to work under pressure and handle stressful situations; physical ability to walk, stand, and bend continuously, move up to 600 pounds with assistance, lift up to 70 pounds, and lift lighter objects overhead
