Position: Cafe in the Park Hostess + Cashier
About: The Cashier/Host position at Moody Gardens involves accurately collecting payments, seating guests in an orderly manner, and ensuring guest satisfaction in a friendly and courteous manner. The incumbent is expected to exercise sound judgment, follow company policies, and prioritize accuracy in all job responsibilities.
Requirements: High school diploma preferred; prior hospitality and cashiering experience preferred; must obtain TABC & Food Handlers Certification prior to beginning work; reliable and responsible; basic math skills necessary; ability to resolve conflict situations and communicate effectively in English; proficient in operating a cash register, keyboard, and POS system; must be able to remain on feet throughout the shift and work in a confined space
