Position: CAFE FOOD SERVER
About: Responsible for all facets of the guest service sequence from start to finish. Greet guests in a friendly, welcoming manner and closely observe their needs throughout the service. Take food and beverage orders, deliver items to guest tables in a timely, courteous, and efficient manner. Complete side-work, and monitor the cleanliness of assigned station.
Requirements: Previous serving experience preferred; Previous experience multi-tasking, remaining calm and professional while working in a fast-paced restaurant environment; Prior experience exercising sound judgment when dealing with difficult guest situations; Ability to effectively communicate with management, chefs, and staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by the guest or other employees; Previous experience with point-of-sale systems, computers and calculators; Previous experience working with InfoGenesis preferred; At least 21 years of age; High school diploma or equivalent preferred; Able to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal; Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company; Verify right to work in the United States
