Position: Café Chef
About: de Young Cafe at de Young Museum, located in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco, is seeking an experienced Café Chef to join their team in a fast-paced, people-focused environment. The cafe is known for delivering delicious and fresh food to its customers under the leadership of skilled chefs.
Requirements: At least 3 years’ experience as a Café Chef or 4 years as a Sous Chef in a busy kitchen; Valid California Food Handlers Card and Manager ServeSafe Certified; Strong organizational and communication skills; Experience developing menus and managing high-volume service; Food Handler and ServeSafe Manager Certification required; Good physical fitness; Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays as scheduled; COVID-19 vaccination is required
