Position: Cafe Attendant, line server, busser
About: Riddle Village, a lifecare retirement community in the Delaware Valley, is looking for friendly and sociable Cafe Attendants to join their dining department team on a part-time basis. The community offers various dining venue options, including fine dining, buffet, pub-style, and cafe services, catering to the needs of active and independent adults aged 62 and better.
Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age; Must be able to follow oral and written instructions in the English Language; Must be able to speak, understand, read and write in the English Language; Must have an interest in working with the elderly; Must display excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills; Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, both individually and as part of a team; Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds for short distances with or without reasonable accommodations; Must be able to work every other weekend with shifts that start as early as 8:30 AM and end as late as 3:30 PM Monday through Saturday and run from 2 PM-7:30 PM on Sunday; Must be able to stand the majority of the time, walk short distances, stoop and reach for food; Must be able to lift food and equipment and withstand changes in temperature going in and out of coolers and freezers with or without reasonable accommodations
