About: Whole Foods Market is currently seeking a dedicated Meat Clerk/Butcher to join their team. As a Butcher at Whole Foods Market, you will be responsible for cutting, plattering, and merchandising various products including beef, pork, lamb, veal, and poultry. In addition, you will prepare specialty meat items such as sausages, oven-ready products, and cured meats, ensuring that all products meet the quality standards set by Whole Foods Market. This role also involves maintaining the sampling program, monitoring for spoilage, and providing mentorship to Meat Cutter Trainees.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in meat cutting or butchery preferred; knowledge of meat products and cuts; ability to uphold quality standards; strong attention to detail; mentorship skills
