Position: Busser I
About: Desert Diamond Casino, located in Glendale, AZ, is seeking a Busser I to join their Food & Beverage team. The position involves setting tables, clearing soiled dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas in compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
Requirements: Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED preferred; some experience in the restaurant, kitchen, or dining area field; must be 18 years of age or older. No felony, theft, or stealing convictions. Must pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and background investigation. Knowledge, Abilities, Skills, and Certifications: Knowledge of dining and food maintenance operations; food service knowledge; strong communication skills; ability to read and write clearly in basic English; outstanding guest service skills; professional appearance; familiarity with internal controls; ability to obtain Food Handlers card and TIPS certification; successful completion of Busser I Skill Set testing; ability to work in a stressful environment. Physical Demands: Ability to stand, use hands, reach, talk, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, lift up to 50 pounds. Work Environment: Work in kitchen and banquet areas with exposure to various elements, high noise levels, and irregular shifts.
