Position: Busser – Brunch & Sip – LA

About: Bussers at a restaurant ensure the flow of service continues uninterrupted by filling water, clearing plates, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of guest tables and the restaurant as a whole. They clear unused plateware only when the guest is finished, wipe tables between courses without interruption to guest conversation, clear, clean, and sanitize tables, booths, and chairs between seatings, refill water when necessary, communicate the needs of guests to Front of House staff immediately, ensure floors are always without debris and moisture, clean and maintain appliances needed for service and report all breakage or damage to equipment or furniture immediately to management, properly set up side stations, perform side work, and other opening/closing procedures as directed, always maintain general cleanliness, stock paper supply in guest restrooms during service, empty trash, receptacles, sweep floors, restock all supplies in the dining room, ensure dining areas and service stations are clean and organized, portray a positive and professional attitude and appearance, understand the policies and procedures of the organization and adhere to company standards outlined in the company handbook, possess conversational knowledge of food and beverage items served at the establishment, participate in training sessions, departmental meetings, or pre-shift meetings, ensure the well-being of all guests and co-workers by following the Company Safety Standards and maintaining compliance with the Department of Health and OSHA. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; previous experience in a restaurant setting preferred; ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in a high-paced environment; strong communication and interpersonal skills; knowledge of safety standards and compliance regulations
