Position: Business Development Representative
About: Unum Group, a leading provider of employee benefits worldwide, is looking for a proactive and customer-oriented professional to join their team. This role involves building positive relationships with prospective client leads, existing clients, and insurance agents interested in selling Colonial Life products, ultimately enhancing the Colonial Life brand.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required or at least 4 years of similar experience; demonstrated ability to establish leadership presence and create relationships; excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and presentation skills; ability to handle multiple priorities; highly energized, motivated self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment; strong organizational, implementation, and project management skills; goal and results oriented; strong oral and written communication skills; ability to influence, persuade, and problem solve; adaptability and comfort with change; must be licensed to solicit insurance or obtain an insurance license within 45 days of hire
