Position: Building Maintenance Supervisor
About: Montgomery County Community College is seeking a Building Maintenance Supervisor to join their Facilities Management Department. The position is responsible for maintaining the college’s building assets to a high standard of condition through comprehensive maintenance practices, ensuring minimal equipment failures and proactive preventive maintenance efforts. The role involves overseeing a team of maintenance staff and ensuring smooth operations within the college campuses and offsite locations.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; Graduate of post-secondary program in appropriate mechanical field and/or a degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred; Five (5) years of experience in commercial building maintenance work with at least two (2) years in a supervisory capacity; Must have theoretical knowledge in at least 50% of all applicable building trades; Working knowledge of APPA standards preferred; Certification in any trade organization or nationally recognized engineering/maintenance body preferred
