Position: Building Maintenance – Pueblo
About: The Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS) is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician for the Division of Facilities Management – Southern District. This position is responsible for maintaining and managing CDHS facilities and campuses in the Southern Region, ensuring a safe and effective environment for clients, residents, and staff. The work involves planning, designing, operating, and repairing various systems and components within the facilities served, totaling approximately 2 million sq. ft. across multiple sites.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; four years of building maintenance experience; knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC systems, and general maintenance procedures; ability to perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks; valid driver’s license and willingness to travel; willingness to undergo pre-employment background check and annual influenza vaccination; availability for shift work and emergency services
