Position: Building Compliance Officer
About: The City of Hollywood, located in southeastern Broward County between Miami and Fort Lauderdale, is looking for a Building Compliance Officer. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED equivalent plus five (5) years of experience as a General Contractor in a supervisory capacity on various installations. Certification as a Structural, Electrical, Plumbing, or Mechanical Inspector and related qualifications from the Broward County Board of Rules and Appeals. Current Certificate of Competency or Professional License as a General Contractor. Knowledge of modern building construction practices, city building and zoning codes, engineering principles, and computer software.
