Position: Brew Brothers Cook II (Eldorado Scioto Downs – Columbus, OH)
About: A company in the food service industry is seeking a Kitchen Prep Cook to join their team. The role involves pantry and salad preparation, as well as various cooking techniques like broiling, sautéing, frying, boiling, steaming, baking, and grilling. The Kitchen Prep Cook will also be responsible for basic cleaning and maintenance duties in the kitchen environment.
Requirements: Must have basic kitchen knowledge; understanding of culinary terms and mechanical skills; knowledge of basic kitchen tools including peelers, knives, ovens, grills, and fryolators; familiarity with sanitation practices and equipment maintenance; ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment; at least one year of food service experience preferred; physical ability to lift and move items up to 40 pounds; ability to work in varying climates and conditions; minimum age of 18; ability to obtain and maintain necessary licensing; pass a background check and drug screening.
