Position: Bread Baker – Broad Street
About: This position supports the Bread Manager by baking artisan breads, pastries, and desserts in a semi-hazardous bakery/kitchen atmosphere with moderate to heavy noise. The role involves following recipes, working under pressure, and collaborating in a team environment. The Baker will report to the Bread Manager and work variable hours based on the bakery’s operating schedule.
Requirements: Education: Preferred: High School Diploma or Equivalent, or working towards equivalent; Experience: Required: Baking or cooking experience at a full-service bakery or restaurant; Skills: Ability to follow recipes efficiently, handle bakery demands, work well in a team, maintain organizational skills, provide customer service, demonstrate baking knowledge, agility, and grace under pressure; Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, walk, stand, use hands and arms, with vision abilities; Mental: English literacy, basic math skills, and ability to work under pressure.
