Position: Boathouse Bartender – $10hr + Tips
About: The Boathouse, located at lake level in The Edgewater’s historic Langdon Building in Madison, offers a coastal dining experience with a menu featuring Mahi fish tacos, Wisconsin favorites like the Stella’s bun chicken BLT, and Clock Shadow cheese curds. It caters to both Madison locals and guests of the 4-Star hotel, situated directly on Lake Mendota.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; previous bartending experience of one (1) year or more in casual or fine-dining settings; experience in food & beverage service within a hotel/resort setting is a plus; the ability to ensure correct order taking and prompt service to multiple tables; a caring, positive attitude with a genuine interest in customer satisfaction; excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a team environment; ability to lift, push, pull up to 50lbs (including beer kegs); must be 18 or older; availability for a minimum of 3 shifts per week including nights, weekends, and public holidays; strong knowledge of liquors, beers, and wine; ability to obtain any government-required license or certificate
