Position: BLUES CITY CAFE – SERVER
About: A restaurant is looking for a Server to interact with guests and ensure a great dining experience. The Server will be responsible for positive guest interactions, efficient service, and maintaining guest satisfaction by attending to their needs and providing a welcoming atmosphere. Basic cooking knowledge and menu preparation skills are essential for this role.
Requirements: Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; Experience: Previous serving experience required, excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills required, fluency in English required, basic writing skills in English required; License/Qualifications: TABC Certification; Physical Requirements: Ability to speak and hear, close and distance vision, identify and distinguish colors, frequent walking and standing, ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs occasionally, manual dexterity and motor skills, able to reach hands and arms in any direction, kneel, and stoop repeatedly; Working Conditions: May work in indoor or outdoor settings, varied weather conditions, exposure to moving parts, chemicals, fumes, and airborne particles, varying schedule including evenings, holidays, and extended hours as needed.
