Position: Bistro Attendant/Barista
About: The Courtyard by Marriott, located in Downtown Columbia, SC, is currently hiring for a full-time Bistro Attendant/Barista. The Courtyard Bistro is a chic, fast-casual concept restaurant offering an eclectic menu including a variety of refreshing to-go options as well as full sit-down fare including cocktails, wine, beer, and Starbucks coffee.
Requirements: Previous Courtyard Bistro experience or similar food outlet experience (e.g. Panera, Starbucks) preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required; friendly, outgoing, customer service-oriented personality; excellent written and verbal communication skills; accuracy and attention to detail; problem-solving and decision-making skills; hands-on experience with cash register and POS systems; able to work in a fast-paced environment; ability to read and process orders as they appear on the screen; Food Safety Certification or ability to obtain certification; must be able to multi-task and prioritize tasks when needed.
