Position: Beverage Server – Casino Floor
About: The Beverage Server shall serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks to customers seated at Gaming Machines or bar areas throughout the gaming facility.
Requirements: High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within six (6) months from start date as a condition of continued employment; Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older; Six (6) months related experience and/or training- preferred; Willingness and ability to lift and carry 20lbs continuously throughout the day; Must successfully pass job interview, including a guest service audition; Must possess a high level of maturity, dependability, and punctuality; Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of Wind Creek Hospitality; Must be able to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations; Demonstrated ability to communicate, in English, effectively both verbally and in writing, and understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram formats; Must successfully complete Responsible Vendor Alcoholic Beverage Service, and BASET training; Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations; Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required; Must have an Occupational License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) pursuant to the Illinois Gaming Act and remain in good standing with the Illinois Gaming Board as a requirement for this position.
