Position: Beverage Server

About: The Beverage Server position at Wind Creek Hospitality involves serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks to customers seated at Gaming Machines or bar areas throughout the gaming facility. The company aims to provide an escape from routine into an exciting fantasy world of fun, chance, and possibility, where guests feel a sense of belonging and importance. The job requires maintaining knowledge of menu items, greeting guests, taking beverage orders, garnishing and preparing drinks, ensuring compliance with alcohol policies, maintaining inventories, completing reports, and upholding operating policies and procedures effectively. Anticipation of guests’ needs and prompt responses are crucial aspects of the role. Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Requirements: High school diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within six (6) months from start date; must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older; Six (6) months related experience and/or training preferred; willingness and ability to lift and carry 20lbs continuously throughout the day; must successfully pass job interview, including a guest service audition; must possess a high level of maturity, dependability, and punctuality; ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of Wind Creek Hospitality; must be able to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations; demonstrated ability to communicate, in English, effectively both verbally and in writing, and understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram formats; must successfully complete Responsible Vendor Alcoholic Beverage Service, and TIPS training; must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations; willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required; must have a Tribal Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) as a requirement for this position; must have willingness and ability to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environment
