Position: Bellman and Valet Attendant
About: The Loutrel, a hotel located at 61 State St Charleston, SC – 29401, is seeking a Bellman/Valet Attendant to provide a positive first and last impression to guests as they arrive and leave the hotel. The role involves offering information about check-in, parking and retrieving guest vehicles, assisting with luggage, and promoting hotel functions and facilities in a hospitable service atmosphere.
Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three months related experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds, communicate effectively with guests and coworkers, and work in a hot, wet, and loud environment. A valid driver’s license with a good standing driving record is required.
