Position: Bartender / Wait Staff
About: New York Butcher Shoppe & Wine Bar, an upscale specialty food and wine establishment in New York, is seeking a versatile Bartender/Wait Staff to provide exceptional customer service and create memorable dining experiences for clientele who appreciate fine meats, gourmet foods, and quality wines.
Requirements: Previous experience in bartending and/or serving, preferably in an upscale environment; knowledge of wines, spirits, and cocktails, or willingness to learn; Food Handler’s certification and alcohol service certification (or ability to obtain); excellent customer service and communication skills; ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment; professional appearance and demeanor; ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds; available to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays; basic math skills for processing transactions; 21+ years of age to serve alcohol (as required by law)
