Position: Bartender, VooDoo Night Club (Event Work)
About: Event work – Bartenders will be needed for scheduled VooDoo Events. The bartender provides wine, liquor, and related bar service to guests at assigned stations, ensuring excellent bar service to guests and servers. Mixes drinks according to prescribed recipes, keeps stations stocked with all necessary items, and maintains financial controls and responsibilities. Physical requirements include being physically mobile, able to lift or carry up to 75 lbs, reach above and below the shoulder, grip small items, bend, stoop, twist, stand and walk for up to four hours, work in constricted areas.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; flexibility in fingers and hands to operate cash register, pickup glasses, ice scoop, and measure liquor; mathematical abilities including addition and subtraction; ability to work with hands in ice for 8 to 10-hour shifts; ability to stand and walk for 8 to 10-hour shifts; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; previous bartending experience.
