Position: Bartender/Server
About: HSS is looking for licensed Bartenders for our luxury hotels. Rate of pay: $20-21. RBS LICENSE MUST BE CURRENT. Duties: – Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers – Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations – Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area – Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol – Adhere to all food safety and alcohol service regulations – Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register – Monitor customer behavior and ensure a safe and enjoyable environment – Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operations. Qualifications: RBS LICENSE IS A MUST. – Previous experience in bartending or a related role preferred – Strong hospitality and customer service skills – Knowledge of basic math for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices – Familiarity with food safety regulations and procedures – Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment – Excellent time management skills to ensure timely service – Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with coworkers – Understanding of retail math for inventory management purposes – Familiarity with the food industry and different types of beverages Please note that this is a general job description outlining typical responsibilities and qualifications for the position.
