Position: Bartender-Part-Time
About: The Lakefront Anchorage Hotel, formerly known as the Millennium Hotel, is currently seeking a part-time Bartender to join their team. Situated on the scenic shores of Lake Spenard, just a mile from Anchorage International Airport and four miles from downtown Anchorage, the hotel boasts 248 rooms and three exceptional food and beverage outlets, aiming to provide guests with a memorable experience in Alaska.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; at least one year of Bartending experience required; ability to read, speak, and understand English; working knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and standard drink recipes; operational familiarity with keyboards and point of sale procedures; proficiency in basic mathematics for cash handling and order processing; ability to identify signs of intoxication and handle such situations tactfully; must be 21 years of age with valid TAMS and food handler card; exceptional customer service skills; able to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds; maintain professionalism in all guest and associate interactions; teamwork mentality and ability to work effectively under pressure
