Position: Bartender (Part-Time $15.00/hr.), Graylyn Conference Center
About: Prepares quality beverages while providing timely, accurate, and friendly service in a hospitality environment. This position involves mixing and serving drinks, maintaining cleanliness and functionality of the bar area, and assisting with special events and banquets. The role requires inspecting food and products, assisting with inventory counts, and upholding customer service standards in a dynamic setting.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED and one year related bartending experience in the hospitality industry or restaurant environment; 21 years of age; excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills; ability to communicate effectively in English; ability to maintain effective customer relations; ability to up-sell items; ability to present, open, and pour wine; working knowledge of beer, wine, liquor, and common drink recipes; ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays; ability to operate golf carts and vans; ability to meet the University’s automobile insurance requirements
