Position: Bartender (On Call), Banquet – Canopy Sioux Falls SD
About: Join Canopy by Hilton Sioux Falls Downtown as part of our opening team at this beautiful brand-new property. With over 16,395 sq. ft. of total meeting and event space, we are looking for all positions for our Banquet Team. Join us as a Bartender (On Call) and enjoy a flexible schedule based on group events at the hotel. A Bartender is responsible for preparing beverages and serving beverages and/or food to guests in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum legal age to serve alcohol; experience in a bar or restaurant setting preferred; strong knowledge of mixing beverages according to recipe and portion control standards; ability to check guests for proper identification and serve alcoholic beverages in compliance with laws and regulations; proficiency in processing payments, restocking and maintaining the bar, and ensuring product quality of beverage-related perishables; ability to respond professionally to inebriated guests as needed
