Position: Bartender job
About: ASM Global, a leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an immediate opening for a Bartender at the Shreveport Convention Center/Municipal Auditorium in Shreveport, Louisiana. The Bartender will work under the direction of the Director of Food & Beverage and the Food & Beverage Manager, providing skilled and capable service to ensure total guest satisfaction in line with the venue’s standards.
Requirements: Must be 18 years of age or older; ability to read signs and follow instructions; excellent customer service skills; must pass a background check and meet corporate requirements; must obtain ABO Card and LATC Permit; high school diploma or GED preferred; at least one-year experience as a bartender in restaurants, convention centers, or arenas; experience with upscale dining preferred; 1-2 years’ experience as a bartender in a high-volume environment; good oral communication skills; knowledge of popular mixed drink recipes; ability to operate a cash register and credit card machine; must be able to lift 45 pounds unaided; ability to work long and irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays; non-slip shoes required
