Position: Bartender job
About: This position is located at the Community Center at Davis Monthan AFB, AZ. It is a flexible position, offering 0 guaranteed hours with the possibility of working up to 40 hours. Qualifications require open eligibility for all applicants with categorization by preference(s) and priority consideration eligibilities. Experience in mixing alcoholic beverages for retail sale, recognizing intoxicated patrons, cash handling procedures, physical ability for lifting, age requirement for alcohol service, obtaining a Food Handler’s Certificate, and passing a background investigation are key requirements for this position. No education substitution is allowed. Foreign education may be considered with proof of equivalence to U.S. education standards. Employment Type: OTHER
Requirements: Must have experience mixing alcoholic beverages for retail sale; Must be able to recognize intoxicated or unruly patrons and resolve issues; Must be able to follow cash handling procedures; Must be physically capable of lifting objects weighing 5 to 15 pounds, pulling and pushing objects weighing 10 to 20 pounds, and occasionally lifting over 40 pounds; Must meet the minimum age requirement for alcohol service; Must obtain a Food Handler’s Certificate and complete training; Successful completion of a background investigation (Tier 1 Level) is required
