Position: Bartender job
About: Aspetuck Valley Country Club, located in Weston, CT, is seeking a Bartender to join their Food and Beverage department. The Bartender will be responsible for preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for club members and guests according to professional standards.
Requirements: Education and Experience: Prior bartending experience in a fast-paced environment; Minimum age requirement of 18 to serve alcoholic beverages per CT Legal Guidelines; Awareness of state and local laws regarding the sale of alcoholic drinks. Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training: Unexpired bartender certification. Language and Communication Skills: Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions; Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures; Strong communication skills. Physical, Sensory, and Motor Demands: Highly active, multitasking environment; Frequent standing and walking for extended periods; Excellent physical fitness, visual acuity, and sense of urgency in attending to members’ needs.
