Position: Bartender job
About: The Bartender (BA) at this establishment has a primary function of greeting and serving customers promptly, learning customer preferences, answering menu questions, preparing drinks, and serving food items. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge about the drink and food menus, be able to upsell items, and maintain efficiency, observance, and a personable demeanor towards customers. Essential job functions include greeting customers, checking identifications, preparing and serving beverages, maintaining menu knowledge, recommending new ideas, and ensuring bar cleanliness and stocking. The position also requires adherence to quality, health, safety standards, and regulations, along with state alcohol serving requirements. Interpersonal skills, communication, customer service, and teamwork are essential for this role.
Requirements: Must ensure quality and Health/Safety requirements are met; must meet the state minimum age for serving alcohol and have required certifications; must comply with airport and/or train station rules and regulations; must demonstrate dependability, punctuality, and adherence to policies; must maintain a proper uniform and grooming; must show commitment, initiative, and efficiency in task completion; must possess good communication skills and ability to handle various tasks; must follow company policies and procedures consistently; must be able to stand for extended periods, lift and push objects over 40 lbs, and handle products in a sanitary manner; must have hands frequently immersed in water and chemical solutions; must follow safety rules and report hazards immediately
