Position: Bartender job
About: South Suburban Parks and Recreation is seeking a Bartender/Server to provide guests with high-quality food and beverages and exceptional service. The ideal candidate will guide guests through menus, make recommendations, and possess excellent communication and hospitality skills. No experience necessary but preferred, especially in food and beverage or hospitality. Basic math skills and familiarity with bartending, serving, and common drink recipes are a plus. Must be able to handle money, operate a point-of-sale system, and adhere to beverage and food handling policies.
Requirements: Must be twenty-one (21+) to sell alcoholic beverages; possess basic math skills, ability to handle money, and operate a point-of-sale system; working knowledge of beer, wine, liquor, and common drink recipes; previous bartending and/or server experience preferred; flexibility to work different shifts
