Position: Bartender job
About: This position is located within Commander, Mid-Atlantic Region, Fleet and Family Readiness Program at Naval Station Norfolk. The purpose of this position is to provide beverage service in a dining room, bar/lounge facility. Responsibilities include setting up the bar for operation, mixing and serving drinks, handling payments, completing daily reports, maintaining cleanliness, following sanitation requirements, and other related duties.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum age requirement; knowledge of basic arithmetic and cash handling procedures; working knowledge of sanitation practices; ability to maintain discipline in a crowd; skill in mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages; minimum of six months’ experience preferred.
