Requirements: Qualification standards: Must have 2 years of experience in full-service bar or equivalent; accurate mathematical skills; knowledge and experience in the preparation of alcoholic beverages; thorough knowledge of types of liquors, wine, and their distinctions and use. Must be willing and able to meet personal schedule requirements punctually, be courteous and pleasant, communicate effectively with guests, maintain the restaurant’s established image, stand or walk for long periods, work nights, weekends, and holidays, work with and account for large sums of money accurately, open beer, liquor, and wine bottles frequently, move and transport filled glass racks, and transport cases of beer, wine, or liquor when bar back is not available.
