About: EL Bar – Tequila & Mezcal Bar, a subsidiary of City Winery, is launching at the vibrant Pier 57 rooftop, and we’re looking for dynamic Bartenders to join our team! If you’re passionate about tequila and mezcal, and have a talent for crafting exceptional cocktails and sharing the rich stories behind every spirit, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of bartending experience in a high-volume, upscale environment; Strong knowledge of tequila, mezcal, and other spirits, with the ability to craft and recommend cocktails; Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests; Meticulous with drink preparation, ensuring consistency and quality in every cocktail served; Excellent verbal communication skills, able to interact effectively with guests and team members; Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple orders and tasks efficiently; Strong team player, willing to assist colleagues and contribute to the overall success of the bar; Knowledge of health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices; Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly, and stand for extended periods during shifts; Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
