Position: Barista, Starbucks at UPMC Children’s Hospital (Casual Hours)
About: UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh is currently seeking a Casual Barista to work in our Starbucks location. This position requires evening and weekend availability. If you are an experienced barista or looking to start a new position in a healthcare setting, we welcome you to apply today. The Barista prepares espresso drinks, smoothies, and coolers based on customer requests and according to standards. They perform cashiering duties, maintain work stations, and stock supplies as needed, creating a memorable experience for each guest through fast, friendly, and courteous service. Responsibilities include welcoming questions, educating guests, making drinks promptly, operating equipment, maintaining cleanliness, following cash handling procedures, and contributing to store profitability and goals.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; experience as a barista preferred; ability to work evenings and weekends; excellent customer service skills; effective communication and teamwork abilities; previous cashier experience preferred
