About: Purple Waves is a neighborhood cafe and wine bar located at 285 West 110th Street, at the nexus of the UWS, Harlem, and Morningside Heights. We provide a warm, inviting space for the community to enjoy fresh and local food and beverages while promoting sustainability, circularity, waste elimination, and supporting local producers. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; previous barista experience is required; deep understanding and appreciation of sustainability, circularity, waste elimination, and local sourcing is strongly preferred; exceptional customer service and communication skills; applicants from our neighborhood and community are strongly encouraged to apply
