Position: Barista | Quick Serve Representative
About: Market Pavilion Hotel, a luxurious hotel located in Charleston, SC, is seeking Barista & Quick Serve Representatives for Cafe Pavilion, a sweet and savory coffee shop within the hotel. The hotel is known for its hand-crafted pastries, artisan breads, desserts, and savory food items created by the culinary team at Market Pavilion Hotel and Grill 225. The hotel and its dining establishments set the standard for luxury service in Charleston, providing a supportive and organized team structure for hospitality professionals to thrive and succeed.
Requirements: High School degree or equivalent required; at least 1 year of experience in a restaurant, café, coffee shop, or similar environment; good knowledge of various coffee beverages and customer service; ability to stand or move continuously for 8 hours, climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, push, pull, squat, work above the shoulders, use both hands for grasping, lift up to 30 pounds, work at heights, and tolerate protective equipment; willingness to work weekdays, weekends, and occasional holidays
