With over 145 stores worldwide, PJ’s Coffee serves a variety of coffee beverages made from the finest Arabica beans, organic tea, and fresh pastries. The upcoming PJ’s Coffee location in Houston is seeking a dedicated Barista to join their team and uphold the brand’s reputation for excellence in coffee making.
Requirements: 18 years of age or older; Previous work experience as a Barista or Waiter/Waitress, including hands-on experience with brewing equipment; Previous cash handling experience preferred; Punctual and reliable transportation; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment; Can pick up on new tasks quickly and can carry out oral and written instructions as well as request clarification when needed; Open availability and can work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays; Team player with a strong desire to make customers happy and provide excellent service; Current Food Handler’s Certificate/ServSafe or must obtain one within one week of hire; Knowledge of sanitation regulations; High school diploma; relevant training is a plus
