About: Katella Deli, a bustling cafe and coffee shop, is seeking a dedicated team member to join as a Barista. The role involves preparing and serving drinks, handling food orders, maintaining cleanliness, and providing quality customer service in a vibrant atmosphere.
Requirements: A passion to work in a Cafe/Coffee atmosphere; California Food Handlers card is required for all food service employees who prepare, store, and serve food; Previous Barista Experience; Excellent communication skills (verbally interacts with management, servers, team members, and guests); Previous Coffee bean roasting experience is a plus; Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize and work effectively within a sometimes-pressurized environment; Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required; Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, as needed
