Position: Barista job
About: Good Ambler is a high-volume bakery and cafe located in the heart of Fulton Market/West Loop. They offer a robust menu of coffee and tea beverages, breakfast pastries, sweets, and handcrafted chocolates, along with a simple cafe menu of sandwiches and salads. The establishment is open 7 days a week with steady business, particularly servicing the adjacent office building. Weekend operations experience long and fast-moving lines, requiring teamwork and a strong focus on hospitality.
Requirements: Strong knowledge of coffee, tea, and espresso beverages; creative and adaptable; basic floor service; customer service/hospitality; ability to multitask; maintaining composure during high-volume periods; effective and proactive communication; morning and weekend availability, ideally Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday; flexibility to work opening, mid, and closing shifts as needed; strong work ethic; restaurant experience is a plus.
