Position: Barista job
About: The Barista position at the Hilton Blue Lagoon involves creating, preparing, and serving specialty coffee, tea, and other beverages to guests. The Barista will be responsible for educating guests on the drink menu, making recommendations based on preferences, and ensuring an excellent drinking experience for all patrons.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; ability to stand for extended periods of time and push/pull/lift 40+ pounds; excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to follow all safe food handling procedures and sanitation practices; good memory to manage multiple orders simultaneously and recall faces, names, and preferences of frequent guests; ability to serve customers quickly, efficiently, and kindly; a flexible schedule that allows availability early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays; excellent time management and a proactive attitude; organization skills
