Position: Barista Galveston Island Hilton
About: The Barista position at Landry’s, LLC is responsible for providing top-quality service to guests by promoting coffee consumption, preparing and serving a variety of coffee drinks, pastries, gelato, and cookies. The role also involves cashiering functions, maintaining inventory, and ensuring a safe work environment.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred; ability to work flexible and long hours; capable of lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or 20 pounds frequently; able to stand for the entire shift; strong communication, decision-making, multitasking, and initiative skills; proficient in handling financial information and basic arithmetic
