Position: Barback – Sports & Social Bethesda
About: Sports & Social Bethesda is a one-of-a-kind sports bar and social lounge located in the Pike & Rose Development. The establishment boasts a 7,700-square-foot location with plenty of TV screens for sports fans, including an 18-foot LED display showing multiple games simultaneously. Additionally, there is a 2,000-square-foot outdoor patio for guests to enjoy an elevated dining and beverage experience featuring made-from-scratch menu items, curated cocktails, live music, and various interactive social games throughout the week.
Requirements: Food service experience with general knowledge of bar/nightclub operations; must speak fluent English, other languages preferred; must be at least 18 years old; communication skills for interactions with guests, cooks, wait staff, and supervisors; alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit; reading, writing, and basic math skills; willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays
