Position: Barback – Restaurant
About: Live Nation Clubs & Theaters, a division of Live Nation Entertainment, is seeking a Restaurant Barback to join the team at House of Blues Las Vegas. The venue, located inside the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, offers a full-service restaurant, music hall, and nightclub with stunning views of the Las Vegas Strip.
Requirements: State of Nevada Food Handler Certification & Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or Equivalent; Ability to work late hours; Flexible schedule; Skills in interpersonal communication and teamwork; Tolerance of all cultures, music, and art forms; Responsible Alcohol Training Certification or Equivalent; 3 years work experience interacting with people in a positive environment; Experience recognizing valid ID’s; Experience in a live music environment; Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment with considerable noise and interruptions; Must be able to change activity frequently; Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time; Ability to lift and carry objects up to 35 pounds.
