About: Bodega Taqueria y Tequila Foggy Bottom in Washington D.C. is seeking a dynamic and experienced Barback to join their team. The Barback plays a vital role in ensuring that the bar is well-equipped and maintained for smooth operations, alongside maintaining cleanliness, running food, and assisting in bar setup and breakdown. The position requires a strong hospitality focus and attention to detail, reporting to the General Manager or Assistant General Manager.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; previous customer service or food service experience preferred; basic math and cash handling skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment; strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions; knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices; flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; high degree of professional integrity; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
