Position: Barback job
About: The Biltmore Hotel is seeking a meticulous and dedicated Barback to join their team. The position entails thorough knowledge of food, beverage, and bar recipes, adherence to service standards, and maintaining a positive attitude towards guests and staff. Responsibilities include providing beverage and food services in the Biltmore Bar and ensuring cleanliness and organization in assigned work areas. The ideal candidate must consistently follow departmental policies and procedures as per the Biltmore Standard Operating Procedures (BSOP’S).
Requirements: High school diploma is required; minimum two years’ server experience preferred. Must speak, read, write, and understand English; calculate accurate mathematical calculations; provide legible communication; prioritize tasks; work cohesively in a team; work with minimal supervision; maintain confidentiality; possess basic typing and moderate to advanced computer skills; adapt to multitasking and dynamic environments; lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds; stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; operate necessary office equipment; communicate effectively; work in moderate temperatures; demonstrate time management and active listening skills.
