Position: Barback – Conrad Los Angeles
About: Join the team at Conrad Los Angeles, the newest luxury hotel in downtown LA, situated within The Grand LA project, representing the 7th Conrad Hotel in the U.S. and the 1st in California. This 28-story hotel offers over 300 rooms, a spa, a 16,000 square foot rooftop with a pool deck, 12,000 square feet of event space, and 3 food and beverage outlets, including a signature restaurant, outdoor restaurant, lobby bar, and in-room dining in collaboration with Chef Jose Andres’ award-winning restaurant group, JoseAndresFoodGroup. The Grand LA is at the heart of DTLA’s cultural corridor, featuring two towers, a 45-story residential and 28-story hotel, and over 176,000 square feet of retail space with chef-driven restaurants, shops, and entertainment options.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; barback experience preferred; knowledge in preparation and service of alcoholic beverages; basic mathematical skills; sufficient manual dexterity; basic knowledge of the English language; ability to work in confined spaces and within temperature ranges; ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs; flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays; ability to work a full shift walking and standing; obtain Responsible Beverage Service and California Food Handler Card within 30 days of hire if applicable
