Position: Bar Manager, Lou’s Barton Springs
About: At Lou’s Barton Springs, an establishment under McGuire Moorman Lambert Hospitality, we aim to provide a laid-back and vibrant dining experience in Austin. Our bar manager plays a crucial role in curating a diverse selection of spirits, cocktails, craft beers, and wines to complement our menu offerings and celebrate Austin’s beverage scene.
Requirements: Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the restaurant industry; in-depth food and beverage operations knowledge, including service techniques and product knowledge; proficient in managing inventory, cost control, and analyzing sales data; familiarity with health and safety regulations in the restaurant industry; certified in Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission + Texas Food Management; strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team; excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests, staff, and management; strong attention to detail and organizational abilities; flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
