Position: Bar Manager
About: HalfSmoke, a dynamic and vibrant restaurant in Washington D.C., is seeking a dedicated and experienced Bar Manager to lead our bar team in delivering exceptional service and memorable experiences to our guests.
Requirements: DC ABRA Manager’s License; Eligibility for DC Health Dept. Manager’s License; 5+ years experience in restaurant setting (at least 1yr in leadership role); 2+ years bar experience; Experience and comfortability leading a team; Excellent multitasking ability; Interpersonal relationship skills; Attention to detail; Exceptional customer service skills; Knowledge of food, beverage, and hospitality industries; Able to maintain restraint in stressful situations; Ability to de-escalate tense interactions; Facility with math; Comfortable with hospitality and sales technology platforms; Enthusiasm and lots of energy
